Founded in 1976/77 as Stonnall Rangers and playing at a ground at the rear of shops in the village of Stonnall the club quickly grew and with the addition of new teams this meant that other pitches had to be found.
Over the years as the growth continued the club assumed other names: Brownhills Junior Sporting Club, Walsall Wood Juniors, and Walsall Borough Juniors.
The Club moved to Brownhills Community School in 1986 to create a closer identity both with the area we serve and to further establish our links with all local schools hence the name Brownhills Community Colts. With the School as our firm base we continued to move forward always looking to achieve our aims and objectives, not only in Football, but also in the Community as a whole organizing and helping others in many events in the community.

Over the years we have enjoyed success in the local leagues: we have entertained and visited clubs in Europe and Great Britain making friends along the way.

Honorary members Brian Keates and David Vale are the stalwarts upon whom the present success has been built and with a very hard working management committee, the support of many parents and friends and ex-players, who have developed into great team managers, we can look to the future with optimism.

Brownhills Community Colts, who are one of the longest established junior football clubs in the Walsall area (30 years), were awarded the FA Charter Standard Club Development status by the Football Association.
After providing a portfolio of evidence to the FA of their clubs organisation and the qualifications of their members, Staffs FA awarded Brownhills Community Colts the prestigious charter award in December 2001, and the Charter Development award in 2005. In 2007 due to a lot of hard work by Brownhills Community Colts FC we were rewarded with the coveted Charter Standard Community Club status which is as high as you can go as a charter standard club.

Brownhills Community Colts are the real grassroots level of football and the well-known white and red shirts and red shorts of Brownhills Community Colts will be out in force for many seasons to come.
