On Friday 10th November the Colts held their annual Pub Games Night in the School lounge.
Although only attended by 50 people the ones that did attend had a great evening judging by the cheering at the football table, concentration on the darts and determination on the bowls.
In a keenly fought night of competition it was the 'Undecided 5' who were overall winners despite not winning an individual event. Their consistency in each game saw them finish in the top 4 in each event. The undecided 5 were, Terry and Donna Matthews with relatives Shan, Terri and Russell Ward. It was particularly nice to see the Wards again as Russell is an ex Colts Player who is now playing great golf off a lower handicap than his dad. Also as a gesture to the club and also keeping their teeth and wastelines intact, they donated their sweetie prizes back to the club as Grand Draw prizes. Many thanks.
The individual event winners were:
Football Game, Powerful Powell's consisting of Lynn, Richard, Luke,
Lee and Adam.
They played 4 games and won 3 and drew 1. The lads were the main strength
of the team although Lynn and Richard played their parts.
On the darts , this was won by 4 lads who play for the U15 Reds and Whites. They were Michael Harper, Todd Jewkes, Sam James and Danny Fenton. They also take the prize for the best name of the night. 'Cod, Carp and Spam cooked in Fent's Tent'. See how they made it up?
On the Bowls it was Jay team +2 who won the day after and excellent score of 145 in round 2. It was demon bowler Norman Fenton who had the highest individual score despite the playful barracking of the Cod Carp… team. The rest of the Jay Team are, Neil and Holly Jones, Martin and Elaine, and Lil and Norman Fenton.
We would like to express our thanks to all that turned up, and to the game helpers Lewis Bland on the Football, Chris Fenton on the Darts and the Maffa's for lending us the football game again.
The teams entered were:

included Chairman Howard wife Dot , Daughter Andrea and her son Tom
