Notes to Managers and Secretaries for February 2009

1) Fixtures for February 2009
Please find attached:

2) First Half Cup Competitions for Under 9's and Under 10's
Congratulations to Hednesford Town Under 9's and Shire Oak Strollers Under 10's
for winning their respective first half cup competitions at the Finals night on the
16th of January. Well done to all the teams who participated in what was a very
successful night of exciting and skillful football.

3) Team Registration Sheets for Matchdays
The team registration sheet should be checked when you register before playing. After
matches, you should enter the scores, and sign the bottom of the sheet. The sheet should
then be handed in at the registration point. Failure to do so will result in a fine.

4) Exchange of Registrations prior to Kick Off
Managers are reminded of League Rule 8 (K) which requires that player registrations must
be exchanged with the opposition prior to kick off. They should also be produced on
request for any League or FA Official

5) Litter at Centres
Following last months request to stop the dropping of litter at centres, there has been
a marked improvement, and no further complaints. Please let's keep this up, don't
forget it spoils it for the players as well as other park users.
Please ask parents to use the litter bins. If there are no bins, take the rubbish home.
Make sure the players do not drop litter, especially plastic bottles. The tops can be as
sharp as glass.
Let's make sure it is a good environment in which to play football!

6) Under 7's at Willenhall Sports College in February
The Under 7's will be playing on the synthetic pitch at Willenhall Sports College in February.
Managers should make sure players have suitable footwear.

7) Warming Up before the matches
Please protect the pitches by warming players up off the field play prior to kick off.
It is in everyones interests to try to keep the pitches in good condition.

8) Transfer Deadline
Please note that the transfer and signing on deadline is the end of February.

9) Half Term - 15th February 2009
There are no fixtures for that weekend.
